STEP 1 cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects, killing up to 99.999% of bacteria and viruses on hard, nonporous surfaces in one, time-saving step. And because STEP 1 contains no harmful chemicals, and is rated “Category IV” for toxicity by the EPA, the very lowest rating a disinfectant can be awarded, no gloves or other personal protection equipment are necessary when using it, no wiping or rinsing is needed after it’s applied, even on Food Contact Surfaces, and no Precautionary Statements or Hazzard Warnings are required on its labels.
GERMICIDAL • VIRUCIDAL* • BACTERICIDAL • FUNGICIDAL • TUBERCULOCIDAL
Effective against more, and more difficult to kill, microorganisms than the EPA requires for a Hospital Disinfectant to be classified as “Broad Spectrum,” STEP 1 is also “Tuberculocidal,” a designation reserved for hospital disinfectants that have proven effective against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, a notoriously difficult to eliminate the pathogen.
Effectiveness against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis is a substantial antimicrobial benchmark that signifies an advanced level disinfectant with considerably higher germicidal potency. Tuberculocidal hospital disinfectants are also capable of eliminating a much broader spectrum of pathogens, including such antimicrobial-resistant and difficult to destroy microorganisms as Hepatitis B and C, HIV, and MRSA.
STEP 1 eliminates up to 99.999% of harmful bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), Norovirus, Influenza, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), E. Coli, Salmonella, Klebsiella Pneumoniae, H1N1 (Swine Flu), Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Ebola Virus, and Legionella Pneumophila. STEP 1 also eliminates and meets the surface disinfection recommendations from OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standards for, HIV-1, HAV, HBV, and HCV.

EASY ON SURFACES, USERS AND OUR PLANET
The Step Two proprietary chemicals are one of a small number of antimicrobial products to earn a “Category IV” rating for toxicity from the EPA. Category IV is the very lowest toxicity rating any antimicrobial product can be awarded, and one that means no gloves or other personal protection equipment is necessary when applying it, no rinsing is required after it’s applied, even on food contact surfaces. In fact, no precautionary statements or hazard warnings are required on its labels.
A Single Application Lasts & Remains Antimicrobially Effective for 3 Months*
Disclaimer for Step Two:
*Inhibits the growth of microorganisms and helps prevent the growth and spread of bacteria, including odor-causing bacteria, bacteria which cause staining and discoloration, fungi, and algae for up to 3 months.
